I know this isn't the biggest list possible or anything but I decided a while back to hold back on getting GWAMM untl my mate is ready so;
right now all I have is luxon, he has party, drunkard and luxon, so we're gunna those four plus the two gwamms.
However this isn't really to see the announcement, it's more about getting GWAMM at the same time.
Hopefully it works out

Yep. Unfortunately.
I will max the Luxon title and then EAT SWEETS and have a PARTY.
Eating sweets/using party items gets only topped by drunkard and AFKing in the nine rings. Legendary Defender of Ascalon is also cheesy.
Though I hate it to be the party pooper, Aion is unlikely to be our salvation.
Rather Diablo 3 or Blizzard's new super secret next generation MMO.
I just shiver when I read ANet's early ideas for GW2. Basically, we return to the very roots of MMO gaming, stoneage design - going backwards instead of being ahead of the competiton.
There is still the chance that GW2 is great, I just doubt it. I miss any direction and coherence in their game design philosophy. GW has changed a lot, and not always to the better. They messed it up thoroughly and basically had to restart the franchise.

If you're far enough along the title, or rich enough to buy it, you could add wisdom as well (and treasure if you're not concerned with Kurzick/Lux)

The one I'm planning on, will probably be Treasure Hunter, Wisdom, Drunk, Life Of the Party, Sweet Tooth, and GWAMM. Just need to find a shed load of chests with golds inside them.

This is not a thread to talk about Aion.
Either take it elsewhere or I'll MAKE you take it elsewhere.

Why do you want a "title spike" anyways. I'm assuming it's so that you can have as many people as possible see you get it and pm you to say "gg you beat guildwars".
Maybe just do the title for your own benefit?

I for one am waiting on a title spike, but I couldn't care what other thinks, I'm doing it as a way to keep me playing this game. Once my main has GWAMM I'll most likely stop playing. This way I actually have a reason to keep playing. I could of had GWAMM six months ago but with the title spike in mind, I'm still playing.

No need to change guilds. The collectors in Kaineng will take books off you no matter what guild you're in or what faction you have. They just add the points directly to your title.

When I got my GWAMM I got some guildies with me to do grand court of sebelkeh for the elona and legendary guardian titles. Then went out to find my chest#10k to open, and after that back to GH where I donated the last kurz faction, after that we had a nice party
I could have held back the last firewater to drink and the last rocket to fire etc, but i had these titles much earlier.

No need for spiking then. As soon as I got GWAMM, I got 30+ congrats form random people, so that would stroke the e-peen enough if that's what you are after.
Still, it's fun to see someone spiking these titles. They often get a 'nice one!' from me, for showing the dedication.

Now that GWAMM is becoming more popular, i think that spiking it is just another unique way to achieve it, and often makes you feel that little bit better!

Treasure+Wisdom+drunk+sugar+party+vanquisher/carto/skill hunter would be simple enough to get all within 10 seconds. If you want to spread it out over 10 minutes or so you can spike from ~15-30 easily

I recently attempted a title spike on my monk to get GWAMM. I basically did it to get screenshots. I maxed Drunkard, Sweet Tooth, Party Animal, Skill Hunter, and Kurzick all within about a minute or two, taking me from 24 maxed titles to 30 (2 skill hunter titles, but GWAMM gets broadcasted).
If you're looking for more to spike, Wisdom and the other of Kurzick or Luxon are probably the only other ones you can do at the same time. I had already finished my vanquishing and cartography, and I don't think I'd want to try to squeeze those two in while trying to do this anyway, since both can be completed at inopportune times and that's probably more dedication than I would want to put in for something like this. They're also fine if you don't intend to spike so much as finish titles within say 5-10 minutes of each other, or if you're not trying to gather with guildies for the event.
If you just wanted to max titles that don't broadcast, I suppose you could save quests that gave reputation rewards. That won't work for Luxon/Kurzick because you have to donate the faction to add them to your title track. You should use a Shiro's Return or Young Heroes of Tyria book in Kaineng Center if you want to max your titles while in a city where your friends can see the broadcasts.
Also, I made a couple of mistakes in my title spiking which caused it to drag on a little longer than it should have. So if you're trying to achieve a near-perfect title spike, here are some tips:
- Have all your items ready before you start.
- For Drunkard, make sure you're down to needing exactly 3 minutes of drunkenness, and use Grog. You will be able to time your spike off of the Yo Ho Ho icon.
- For Skill hunter, have your secondary set appropriately beforehand (my first mistake).
- For Party and Sweet, if you plan on firing a bunch of these off during the 3 minutes of your last grog, you'll definitely want less than 100 of each, and probably no more than 50 of each. That's a LOT of double-clicking, and you still need to turn in the book for Kurzick or Luxon AND use your skill tome. (my 2nd mistake - having about 200 of each to double click through--thought it'd be fun to fire off a bunch of ghosts-in-the-box while running around in circles in tonic form--it becomes a lot less fun after the first 50 or so)
- For Party, if you plan to use a Disco Ball to finish off the title, make sure you have the district to yourself. I used Traditional Chinese dist 1 and my guildies who came to watch knew not to use a Disco Ball.
- Try very hard not to care about extending favor as it's running out. (this caused me to push to finish the titles before I was really settled in, esp. since some guildies were still trying to farm gloom seeds for the Traveler)

Heh, when it comes time, me and my friend are going to spike:
Drunkard (both)
Party (both)
Sweets (both)
Kurzick (both)
Luxon (both)
Wisdom (me)
GWAMM (both)
For an epic total of 13 titles =)
Thanks for the tip about Grog by the way, would've never thought of that ^^
